Mary Marg Helgenberger, born November 16, 1958, in the United States is a professional actress. In the 1980s she began her professional career, and was recognized as Siobhan Ryan's character on the daytime soap opera Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. The most famous role she has played is Catherine Willows, a CBS procedural crime drama. Crime Scene Investigation from 2000-13 as well as Immortality (2005). In 2007, McCain earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History at Columbia University. In 2017, McCain was a part of The View as a daytime co-host. McCain's other projects include being a Daily Mail columnist after her time on The View. McCain also published four other books which include America You Sexy Bitch, The Love Letter To Freedom, and Bad Republican.
